IWF 2018
The IWF 2018 in Atlanta, the most important trade show for the woodworking and furniture industry in North America received record attendance.
The show did not disappoint and offered visitors and exhibitors alike an open marketplace for current trends as well as state of the art equipment and technology.
The focus and theme of IWF 2018 was Industry 4.0/IOT (Internet of Things) and it continues to be a point of interest with visitors.
Lignum Consulting’s presentation at their booth included the building blocks necessary for a successful implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions. As part of the educational seminars organized by Virginia Tech University, Georg Frey, President of Lignum Consulting Inc., presented on the subject Industry 4.0. He specifically elaborated on the seven required building blocks: Strategy, Product, Organization, Technology, Data Integration, Logistics, and Human Resources.
