Sepp (Josef) Gmeiner started his career in the woodworking industry with an apprenticeship in cabinetmaking. He graduated in Advanced Wood Processing from the University for Applied Science in Rosenheim, Germany. He has a second degree in Engineering Economics from the University of Applied Science in Pforzheim, Germany. Since 1982 he works as a engineering consultant, but for seven years he was the Engineering and Manufacturing Manager with a major Canadian office furniture manufacturer. He returned to consulting and is since 2004 consultant with Lignum Consulting Corp. in Canada. Most of his projects are in Canada, but Sepp has also completed projects in the USA, Mexico, Guatemala, China and Africa.
