Senior Consultant
We are an independent engineering office, working industry-specific for the international wood and furniture industry. We focus on the technical, organizational and operational consulting of our clients. We create value for wood and panel processing companies, by transforming and aligning their business processes. We work hands-on, from concept to project realization. Our core tasks reach from strategy alignment to machinery specification and plant planning, from process definition to the implementation of lean production systems.
We are a team of self motivated people, process oriented, with strong backgrounds and experience in the wood and furniture industry.
Your Tasks
· Carrying out/supporting engineering consulting projects involving production or process optimization
· Development of strategic/process concepts and implementation of workable solutions with customer´s teams
· Data/process analysis and evaluation
· Coaching and leadership of client´s team members and change management
· Development of, and management towards, measurable improvement results
· Active support in the development of customer oriented consulting processes and methods
Your Profile
· Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering/Woodworking Engineering
· Min. 5 years experience in the wood and furniture industry in a technical lead position
· Business experience (MBA) is a plus
· Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing methods
· Strong analytical skills and development of customer oriented, practical solutions
· Strength in preparing concepts und implementation skills with coworkers and customers
· Strong ability to motivate team members and manage changes
· Proficiency in common office applications and industry-specific software
· Self-motivated and self-driven
· Good communication skills and high accountability
· Strong engagement and willingness to travel
