Project of the Month
„Analysis and assuring of planning processes with simulation"
INITIAL SITUATION
Increases in sales require more capacity at the assembly lines of a kitchen furniture manufacturer.
Extensions are not possible because of space limitations.
With the help of a simulation, bottlenecks in the complex assembly line were identified and different timing sequences compared.
APPROACH / SERVICES
· Dynamic simulation of the current state to check the plausibility of the parameters used
· Transfer of the current situation to possible future scenarios
· Development of synchronization algorithms to ensure the most constant utilization of the various machines and processes
· Elimination of bottlenecks
